Nicely appointed Nice ocean - side setting Ample amenities - workout, pool (although MODEST) I was traveling with 2 girlfriends - we attempted to book spa treatments in advance - the spa was booked, eventually the spa receptionist offered a neighboring spa, a sister spa I believe - for which we were MOST appreciative!

The arrival experience was great, everyone super friendly and helpful, very smooth experience. The location is unbeatable. It was also good, that everything was back to pre-pandemic levels, especially housekeeping.

After 1 TERRIBLE night at the SFO Marriott (No valet parking, no host at restaurant, no ice machine on OUR floor), the Intercontinental Clement at Monterey was INCREDIBLE!! Easy to valet park!! Matthew on the front desk was so HELPFUL getting us in our room even though we were a few hours early!! AND he answered our questions that whole day!! The VIEW!! Seagulls sitting on our posts on our balcony!! EVEN WHEN I SAT OUTSIDE TO READ!! And I got a GREAT video of an Otter swimming by!!! Saw her with 2 pups a few days earlier but I couldn't get my camera focused!! AND Justa, our room cleaner did a GREAT job every day and she was so pleasant!! And there were REAL Orchids in our bathroom and they were replaced in each room!! WHO DOES THAT?!! You folks go WAY BEYOND!! And the 'C' was SO GOOD for our 3 breakfasts and 2 dinners!!! You folks REALLY made our vacation!! And don't forget how ALL the shops and Aquarium are right outside!! Such an easy walk to everywhere!!!

Location was perfect if you want to stay in Monterey, just down the road from the Aquarium and near many eateries and shops. Cute fireplace in room, and large room. Valet and front desk service was great, helpful and friendly.

The room that we got came with a patio, which was a great additional space for our little one to play in. The room itself was large enough for all of us, and it was pretty quiet. You can't beat the location either as it was right next to the aquarium so we can easily come back to the hotel to rest and then go back.

Really well maintained and comfortable property. Loved that we were right in the thick of downtown Monterey and literally next door to the aquarium. You certainly pay for it, but worth it! The staff were super hospitable and helpful.

We ate in the restaurant and sat at the bar. The bartender was very knowledgeable of the hotel. We enjoyed talking to him. His dirty martini was great. All the food was delicious. We brought a bottle of wine to the great room and drank some by the fireplace. Then we went out to the peer and looked for seals. No seals but saw some otters.
